Every single time the holidays or a birthday rolls around, I let out a little sigh. It's not that I don't love celebrating special events and my little ones' birthdays... it's just that I can't take any more clutter! The amount of toys that our friends and family members give our kids is overwhelming. Not to mention the fact that they get tired of the toys after a while and they just end up sitting there unused. Don't get me wrong, I'm appreciative and feel so blessed, but it wasn't until my sister in law gave us a gift card to go to the movies that I realized that experiences and "out of the box" gift ideas are so much better. If you want to bestow some fabulous gifts on your loved ones try these ideas instead of traditional toys from the big box stores. I think the kids will love them!

As a grandparent, I find these suggestions very helpful because sometimes it is hard to know what to get and to not duplicate what the kids already have. Thanks.
