Lily Jade Diaper Bag Review of the Elizabeth Brandy & Jade

It's a new year which means it's time to step up my style and add a gorgeous new diaper bag to my collection! I've had the privilege of testing out various bags over the past few years and my needs are starting to change as my kids get older. Now, my bag is less about spit-up rags and bottles, and more about distracting toys and snacks. Recently I got to try out my very first Lily Jade diaper bag and she did not disappoint! I wanted to share some of my favorite aspects of the bag with all of you and there may just be a giveaway involved too!

The first thing I noticed about my new Lily Jade diaper bag is the gorgeous color. This is the Elizabeth in Brandy & Jade and it's got such a rich, natural hue that I just adore.

It's made of premium full-grain leather and I can tell it's a quality product that will last a long time. Not only that, it's surprisingly lightweight at only 2.75 pounds. I've given away quite a few diaper bags that were just too heavy. Weight can definitely be a deal breaker for me and I'm thrilled that the Lily Jade Elizabeth is made of buttery soft leather, yet still light enough to carry everyday.

The tassel featured on the front of the bag is a perfect touch. I just love the natural stone beads and that they've incorporated the jade color throughout on this bag. The exterior pockets have magnetic clasps and are large enough to store my phone, keys and other essentials. There are also two side pockets that are perfect for bottles or sippy cups.

The Elizabeth comes with a coordinating jade colored insert that has 12 pockets and a matching changing pad. The insert fabric is amazing and is completely washable, which I appreciate since we've spilled food and sippy cups in past bags. I also love the fact that I can take the insert out and load it into another bag if I need to.

I packed my Lily-Jade diaper bag full and still had room to spare. There was plenty of space for my two kids' things and my wallet and phone. I don't feel the need to carry a purse when I have such a gorgeous diaper bag.

I like to fill the insert, then slip it into the bag. That way I can see everything before I put it in and make sure I've got all the necessities with me.

Another one of my favorite things about the Elizabeth it the versatility. I can wear it three different ways: as a hand bag, a crossbody, or a backpack.

The diaper bag comes with a long strap which you connect through gold loops to use it as a crossbody or backpack.

Carrying the Elizabeth

I personally love wearing my Lily Jade bag as a backpack because it's hands-free. That means I can push a stroller, carry my kids, and go shopping without the extra weight of a bag on one arm or shoulder.

I also like to use the long strap to carry the bag crossbody as well. That way I can easily reach into the bag to grab things while we're on the go.

If you prefer to carry your diaper bag on your shoulder, you'll be happy to know that the strap drop is long enough to carry it comfortably and the straps are thick enough that the weight is evenly distributed. It's really comfy!

I could not adore my Lily Jade diaper bag more. It's exactly what I needed for the new year! The quality design and carrying versatility make it perfect for every day use. Plus, once I'm done using it as a diaper bag I can take out the insert and it becomes a gorgeous purse.
