    Joovy TooFold Review with Video!

    Joovy TooFold

I've partnered with Joovy for this Joovy TooFold review.

If you're in the market for a double stroller, you're in luck! There are so many fabulous choices for doubles nowadays. Whether you're looking for tandem, side by side, or a stroller that converts from single to double, you've got lots of options. It's no secret that I'm a fan of Joovy products (you can check out my review of the Joovy Caboose VaryLight too), so I was excited for the opportunity to test out their all in one stroller, the TooFold. See below for my full video review of this luxury stroller.

    Joovy TooFold

The Joovy TooFold stroller was originally created by the Micralite brand in Europe and is highly engineered for the very active, on-the-go family. Perhaps the first thing you'll notice is the sleek and modern design of the TooFold. It's definitely not your average stroller that blends in with the masses. I absolutely adore the bold color choices and high-end, heavy duty fabrics that Joovy uses for the TooFold. This stroller is available in four different colors: Red, Blue, Yellowtree, and Black.

The TooFold has an anodized, ultra-lightweight aluminum frame and a dynamic extending wheelbase that offers easy conversions from a single to a double stroller. With a built-in stand-on board, you can quickly accommodate two children. This is such a COOL feature! I love the fact that you don't have to lug a bulky double stroller or take a removable roller board with you when you simply want the option to stroll with two children. There is also an optional second seat (sold separately) if your older child would prefer to sit rather than stand on the built in platform.

    Joovy TooFold

The front seat on the TooFold can accommodate children from ages 3 months and up (you can decide whether or not they have enough neck control to ride safely at 3 months of age), and up to 55 pounds. The seat has two positions, either fully upright or reclined. There is a 5 point harness system for safety with well-padded shoulder straps which are adjustable to 3 different shoulder height levels. This is a re-thread system but it's pretty easy to do. The seat has a well padded liner that is fully removable for washing. The integrated all-weather canopy is pretty small, but Joovy has taken care of that with a great canopy extension for extra sun protection. Located on the stroller canopy is a zippered storage pocket and cup holder. In the photos above, my son is just over 3 years old and weighs 33 pounds, and my daughter is just about 3 months and weighs about 10 pounds (please note, I did not actually stroll with her in the seat. She was placed in the seat purely for photos, although I did feel like the seat cradled her extremely well in the recline position and she seemed very comfortable). The photos also show the stroller in compact single mode and then extended for either shopping or strolling with a second child on the rear platform.

    Joovy TooFold

The rear platform can accommodate a a child from ages 2.5 and up, but less than 44 inches tall and 45 pounds or less. My toddler thinks riding on the platform is just the greatest thing. I think it makes him feel like a "big boy." When you aren't strolling with a child on the built-in platform, you can utilize the ample waterproof shopping bag that's included with the TooFold. Since the storage basket underneath the TooFold doesn't offer a ton of room, Micralite and Joovy wanted to ensure you'd have plenty of room for your gear, shopping bags, and anything else you can imagine. The bag is truly awesome.

Since this stroller was designed for European roads, this stroller can handle a lot of different terrains with ease thanks to the dual front wheels with locking mechanism, 12-inch pneumatic rear wheels, mudguards, and superior suspension system. It features a multi-position, foam wrapped handlebar that can be customized to different heights and positions. It doesn't telescope outwards, but the adjustability is likely very sufficient for most families.

The TooFold has a unique, patented, one-hand quick folding frame that stands when folded. The stroller weighs in at 23.6 pounds so it's fairly easy to lift in and out of the car, but it's not ultra-compact when folded. This hasn't been a problem for me since I have a large SUV, but it might be a challenge if you have limited trunk space and are prone to carrying lots of stuff with you when you're out and about. Check out my video review below to see exactly how compact the stroller gets when folded.

Buy it: You can purchase the Joovy TooFold on the Joovy website and select retailers. You can also purchase on Amazon.com (often for less).

Cool Stroller!! I love the easy fold and the stand board on back!! Not a fan of the big kiddo in to seat tho... looks like his feet would lose circulation after a while of riding around, almost like its still a little too reclined?? And no snack tray for kiddos which makes me sad 🙁 But super great for people always on the go!!

This is very nice and light weight I see. I would be interested in something like this for such heavy bulky strollers are tough to handle. And from baby to growing up and fitting in this saves the bank.

This is the same one my neighbor uses and I know that she loves how easy it is to maneuver in all types of going for walks situations. I notice that they are able to fit all kinds of the kids gear and toys for going to the park.

This looks awesome!! I love that the older child can ride on the back! My oldest would much rather walk than ride in a stroller, but after a while she gets tired. It looks like it folds down pretty small and easily. That's a plus when you have 2 kiddos to load up in the car!

The stand on board is probably my favorite feature. My sis in law has a stroller like this and it's pretty brilliant. With baby number 2 on the way, this is something we're gonna have to consider!!!

That is such a cool stroller! I love it. I've not seen one like this before. It looks much easier and more convenient than a regular stroller.

This looks like a nice, old-time vintage fold-able carriage. I like the look AND the quality.
