5 Reasons To Love the Google Pixelbook

With so many choices out there, it can be hard to decide which laptop is the best fit for your lifestyle. I've partnered with Best Buy to share 5 reasons to love the Google Pixelbook and why it might be the best choice for you.

As a blogger, I'm on my laptop constantly. Having a powerful and fast device is essential to me, but there are a handful of other features that I absolutely must have in order to keep my business running smoothly. The Google Pixelbook checks all the boxes and then some!

Best features of the Google Pixelbook

Lightweight: I NEED a lightweight laptop. Secondary to speed, that is probably the most important feature to me. If you've ever lugged a 5-pound laptop through an airport in your tote bag, you know that owning a lightweight laptop is a necessity for those who travel often. At just 2.45 pounds, the Google Pixelbook packs quite a punch with its super thin (at only 10.3mm it's the thinnest laptop ever!) and lightweight design.

Performance: This new Chromebook is designed to enhance the way you work. The Pixelbook features a 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processor and it's the first laptop with the Google Assistant built in, so you’ll be able to get more done faster and smarter (you will need internet access for this feature). The Google Pixelbook also starts up in under ten seconds, stays fast, and has a fast-charging, all-day battery that gives you up to ten hours of usage from a single charge.

Versatility: Do you want a laptop? How about a tablet? Pixelbook has you covered because it's convertible. It's got a 360° touchscreen and versatile 4-in-1 design that will seamlessly adjust to whatever you’re doing with laptop, tablet, tent and entertainment modes.

All you need, all at your fingertips: Since the Pixelbook is powered by Chrome OS, you’ll always have the latest security and features with software that automatically updates in the background (as long as you're connected to the internet). You can sketch or edit photos, stay productive with GSuite apps that Drive automatically backs up to your device5, and enjoy on-or-offline access to movies and TV shows with apps like Google Play Movies and YouTube Red.

Pixelbook Pen 1 compatibility: If you want to use your Google Pixelbook to its fullest potential, you'll love the Pixelbook Pen (which is sold separately). You can write, draw and weave new designs with this small and light stylus that feels like a regular pen. It lets you record notes and capture sketches via Google Keep, even while your Pixelbook is locked. You can even access Google Assistant with your smart pen. Simply press and hold the button, then tap the pen on Pixelbook’s screen to get help from your Assistant.

It looks super nice, I just can't get over the price!
Granted, I'm tech and deal savvy. I had a dirt-cheap HP chromebook and when the keyboard died for the 2nd time I got a Dell Outlet PC with a ssd for a couple hundred dollars and never looked back. Of course it's not as light and thin and touchscreen as the sleek PixelBook. So it just depends on what features you need!
Thanks for the review, I'm drooling now. 😉

Wow, what a nice looking laptop! And it's so versatile. I love all the different layouts and that you can use a stylus. Sometimes that's just a lot easier than using your finger on a touch screen. It would be great to travel with for sure. Thanks for the review!
