Get ready for the DuckTales reboot. Based on the original series that I knew and loved as a kid, DuckTales is coming back to the small screen! DuckTales on Disney XD will premiere August 12th. I got the chance to immerse myself in the show during the 2017 D23 Expo, including a dive into Scrooge McDuck's money bin.
I don't know about you, but I LOVED DuckTales as a kid. It was a show that my brother and I could watch together and we did, every single time it was on. We never missed an episode and that's why I'm so excited for the show's premiere on August 12th so I can watch it with my kids.
At the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, there was a special DuckTales experience and I got to participate! You probably remember that scene from the DuckTales opening theme scene where Scrooge McDuck dives into his huge money bin as if he's diving into a swimming pool. I thought that was SO cool and only hoped that one day I'd be able to do that too. Well, Disney XD made one of my childhood dreams come true by hosting an exhibit with a giant money bin, full of gold coins, and special 180 degree camera.

I did a light stretch ahead of time so I'd be prepared.
And then, it was go time!
After our jump, DuckTales sent us our very own GIF. They also gave us a super cute pencil case, which my 5 year old went nuts over!
