If you need a little more fuel for your hustle, try this easy smoothie recipe to get your day started off on a great note. I use Dannon Oikos Triple Zero, the official yogurt of the NFL!
This time of year is always so hectic for me. The holidays, New Year, and then, BAM! We all want to focus on resolutions, turning over new leaves, and making ourselves the best we can be. Of course, this is all while we're still hustling in our daily lives, shuttling kids around, and gearing up for NFL playoffs and Super Bowl Sunday. It's almost time for the Big Game and I am so ready for it. But I need to make sure I'm on top of eating well in order to help keep my hustle going.
This is precisely why I always try to start my day off with a protein-packed smoothie. I've been eating Dannon brand yogurt varieties for years now and I absolutely love Dannon Oikos Triple Zero as the base of my smoothie recipe. It's become a staple in our fridge.
It's so easy for me to grab my favorite Dannon Oikos Triple Zero flavors right at our neighborhood Publix in the dairy aisle. With 15g of protein, Dannon Oikos Triple Zero gives you 30% of your daily value of protein in every 5.3 oz cup. Wondering what the "Triple Zero" is all about? It's because they contain 0g added sugar,** 0 artificial sweeteners, and 0g fat. Dannon Oikos yogurts are sweetened with Stevia leaf extract so it tastes great without additional calories!
There are currently 17 different varieties of Dannon Oikos Triple Zero, but these five are definitely some of our favorites. I always keep the Coconut Creme on hand for when my mom visits and my family just loves the Peach and Strawberry flavors.
As for me, I seriously love the Vanilla flavor and eat it routinely as a healthy snack. With 15 grams of protein per 5.3 oz. cup, I can count on it to add some nutrition to my routine throughout the day. It's usually a much better-for-you snack option, especially on days like the Super Bowl when there's usually a lot of unhealthy snacks floating around.
Berry Yogurt Smoothie Recipe
One of my favorite ways to enjoy Dannon Oikos Triple Zero is to make a Berry Yogurt Smoothie in the morning. I simply use a 5.3-ounce single serving cup of Dannon Oikos Triple Zero, ⅔ of a cup of milk, and about a cup of mixed berries. You can use any sort of berry mixture you'd like, frozen or fresh.
I used the Dannon Triple Zero Mixed Berry, but you could also use Vanilla flavor. Either one tastes great! Just add your yogurt, berries, and milk to the blender and blend for 20-30 seconds or until smooth.
You'll end up with about 12 ounces of berry yogurt smoothie that is absolutely delicious. My family is also a huge fan of these smoothies and asks for them pretty frequently. I'm happy to oblige and give them a yummy Berry Yogurt Smoothie whenever they want.
