Recreating a photograph from my childhood

It's time to Embrace the Camera! Today I'm recreating a photo from my childhood, with a spin.
I'm taking the place of my mom 🙂
Today, I'm going to show you why I choose to Embrace the Camera each week.
This is a photo of my mom holding me as a baby.
    There aren't many of them.
My mom was a busy mother of three and taking photos wasn't exactly in vogue back then.
I love that someone captured this moment.
I think she looks absolutely beautiful and
I can't tell you how much this picture means to me.
I want my child(ren) to have photos like this of us.
I want them to have a tangible way to remember me and our moments together.
I tried to recreate this photo with me and the wubba.
It's not the best, but it's all I could manage that day.
But, that's exactly the point of Embrace the Camera -
the picture may not be perfect...
you aren't going to look glamorous all of the time
or  your babies won't be looking at the camera
But, there will be a photo of YOU and someone is going to cherish it one day.
I gave my mom a copy of this so she could have them sitting side by side in a frame.
    So, Embrace the Camera today!
