It's a hot summer here in Florida and a trip to LEGOLAND Florida Water Park is just the thing to make these sweltering days more bearable! If you're planning a trip to central Florida soon, and if you have LEGO-maniac kids like me, this post is for you. I've partnered with LEGOLAND Florida to share our favorite attractions for kids at LEGOLAND Florida Water Park!
We visited LEGOLAND Florida with our kids last year and we all had an amazing time! With a huge variety of rides and attractions, there's something for everyone ages 2-12 (and as an adult, it's a blast too!). I made another trip to check out LEGOLAND Florida's new virtual reality roller coaster built for kids and I would highly recommend it!
This time around, we decided to visit LEGOLAND Florida's Water Park and get some relief from the summer heat! This was the second time we stayed at LEGOLAND Beach Retreat (and my kids just LOVE it!) but we always like to visit LEGOLAND Hotel and their awesome lobby and restaurant. As always, it was a great experience and the kids loved it!
LEGOLAND Florida Water Park
Our kids couldn't wait to head into LEGOLAND Water Park to check out all of the fun rides and activities. There's so much to do for kids of all ages and we spent the entire day there. Here are five of our favorite attractions!
Build-A-Boat
In Creative Cove, you can check out the Build-A-Boat attraction. Our son loved building his own boat and then racing it against others! It's so fun for kids to create their own boats and for us to see what they come up with. My kids love open-ended play things like this.
After Build-A-Boat, we had to grab an ice cream treat from the Ice Cream Hut just across the way!
Build-A-Raft River
Similar to Build-A-Boat, on Build-A-Raft River you can design your own raft and then float down the lazy river with your creation! The lazy river features some really neat LEGO models to check out, also.
DUPLO Splash Safari
If you've got toddlers, you'll probably spend most of your day at DUPLO Splash Safari. With small water slides and some pretty adorable DUPLO safari animals, they'll be entertained for hours! This area is specifically for kids ages six and under, so you don't have to worry about little ones getting in over their head.
Our daughter had so much fun going on these two small slides!
LEGO Wave Pool
Who doesn't love a good wave pool? LEGO Wave Pool is fun for kids and adults alike. We spent a lot of time in the relaxing waves. One thing that's great about LEGOLAND Florida Water Park is that there are multiple stations with life jackets in case your kids aren't confident swimmers. These can especially come in handy in the wave pool.
Joker Soaker
Probably our favorite attraction, the Joker Soaker is a large interactive play center with a variety of things to do. There are multiple slides and climbing areas, plus a wading pool. The best part? A 300-gallon water bucket that dumps at intervals. You could always find a huge group of kids waiting for the water to come splashing down!
These attractions are our five favorites, but there are many other great things to see at LEGOLAND Florida Water Park, too. They also offer a few different places to eat at the water park, but we chose Beach Street Tacos and all I can say is YUM. I'd highly recommend grabbing some fish street tacos next time you visit the park!
Our kids are already begging to go back to LEGOLAND Florida Water Park. I can't wait for our next visit, either!
Have you been to LEGOLAND Florida Water Park?
What was your favorite attraction? Let me know in the comments!
Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets to LEGOLAND Florida Water Park in exchange for this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
