Our family is taking a trip to Disneyworld at the end of the month and we couldn't be more excited! However, we realized that with four people, we'd need to upgrade our luggage to make travel easier. I've partnered with JWorld New York to share their best hardside luggage and why we're excited to use it!
It's always been a dream of mine to take our kids to Disneyworld. We wanted to wait until they were old enough to enjoy it, and now that they're two and four we think it's a great time for their first trip. It's also going to be their first time flying! While I'm excited about that, I'm also a little wary of how difficult it will be to get through the airport with two kids and all of our luggage, car seats, and a stroller (not to mention the kids themselves!). We knew it was time to upgrade to some hardside luggage to make things a little easier on ourselves.
The Best Hardside Luggage for Family Travel
When we started looking for luggage, we knew we wanted hardside luggage. I just feel like hardside luggage is so much stronger and more durable, especially when we pack souvenirs on the way home. I've had the same softside luggage since high school and while it's great for local travel, I wanted hardside for flying. JWorld New York has a HUGE variety of hardside luggage options, and it was easy for me to pick a suitcase for myself and my husband that would fit our needs.
JWorld New York Hardside Luggage
For my husband, the Cruz collection immediately caught my eye. With it's deep red color, I knew it would be easy to spot at the airport. I went with the 24 x 16 x 10.5" suitcase for a little extra packing space over the smaller carry-on size. I'm very impressed with the quality of this suitcase and the design.
With top and side handles, plus an ergonomic telescoping handle, the suitcase is so easy to maneuver. One of the upgrades I was looking forward to was the double spinners that allow for easy transportation. My old luggage didn't have that, and what a difference it makes!
JWorld New York Cruz Luggage
The Cruz luggage is made of flexible polycarbonate. While it protects our belongings, it's also malleable to allow for some pressure. As we all know, suitcases aren't exactly treated gently so this is a great feature.
With a built-in TSA lock, I trust that my belongings will make it safe and sound to our destination. Setting the combination was simple, too!
My favorite feature of all is the SPACE. This luggage has tons of room and we'll be able to easily pack for ten days in this suitcase. I love all of the compartments that allow me to separate things (because let's be honest, I'll be the one packing!).
Check out all that storage! Plus, the elastic cross straps help hold everything in place. There are separate shoe compartments and mesh pockets which are perfect for keeping things organized. Plus, the suitcase expands for an extra two inches of packing space.
Overall I'm so excited to bring this suitcase on our trip! It's lightweight too, which is a huge plus when we're going to be packing for ten whole days!
JWorld New York Art Collaboration - Sprinkle Luggage
For myself, I had to pick out a piece from JWorld New York's Art Collaboration! The Sprinkle design immediately caught my eye - isn't it cute? Plus I knew it would stand out in the crowd at the airport.
The colors are just stunning. Like the Cruz luggage, my Sprinkle suitcase also has side and top handles, plus a recessed telescopic handle for easy maneuverability. It also has double spinner wheels and can roll any direction. I feel like I've been missing out on this feature for far too long!
Another similar feature is the built-in TSA lock. While I plan to bring my suitcase on the plane as a carry-on, I still like the added security of this feature. The dimensions of the Sprinkle suitcase are 20 x 14 x 10", so it fits within the carry-on guidelines for most airlines.
One of my favorite features of this luggage is the gorgeous interior! I love the inner print as much as the hardside shell! While I'm certainly not a minimalist packer, I've had a lot of practice over the years rolling my clothing to fit in smaller suitcases. However, this suitcase doesn't even feel small!
It's got a variety of compartments and also has the elastic cross straps that I love so much. I can't wait to fill this beauty with all of my summer clothes. Even though we're heading to Florida mid-winter, it's going to feel like summer to this Minnesota girl!

Was JUST telling hubby how much we need to update our luggage and that I really wanted hardside this time!! No stains to worry about and so much more resilient!! We will have to look at this brand as it sounds amazing!! I love all the room and straps!!
