    Step2 Turbo Coupe Foot-to-Floor Review

I've always loved coupe cars for kids. They're cute, easy to maneuver for little feet, and a fun way to get around! I've partnered with Step2 to show you their NEW Turbo Coupe Foot-to-Floor in Purple.

    step2 turbo coupe review

As soon as my daughter saw the Step2 Turbo Coupe in purple, she was in love. She tells me every day that pink and purple are her favorite colors! When the box showed up on our porch, I wish I'd had my camera out to catch her exclamation of joy.

    Step2 Turbo Coupe Review

Assembling the coupe took a bit of work and about a half an hour. I would highly suggest putting this together before your kiddo sees it to save some hassle. Once it was together, though, our daughter was ready to take it for a spin! There are two options for riding in the Turbo Coupe. The first is probably best for younger kids who won't be able to propel the vehicle by themselves. There's a removable grey insert for the floor that will keep their feet off the ground while you push them.

    step2 turbo coupe review

The parent handle on the back works well at my 5'6" height. I could see it being less comfortable for someone taller than me if they were pushing it any distance. As it is, I don't think you'd probably push this extremely far so it's not really a problem.

    step2 turbo coupe review

Our daughter is almost four so she'd prefer to take the grey insert out and maneuver the car with her feet. There's a front wheel that helps the Turbo Coupe spin 360 degrees and makes it easy for little feet to control. She's almost four and her legs fit and are able to steer well.

    step2 turbo coupe review

Our daughter loves the steering wheel and working horn. She beeped that thing all the way down to the park - thankfully our neighbors love kids! It's these realistic features that make Step2 toys really stand out and I appreciate that about them.

    step2 turbo coupe review

The coupe features quiet-ride wheels so it actually doesn't make much noise as it's driven.

    step2 turbo coupe review

The two cup holders on the front are perfect for snacks or sippy cups. I don't know about you but we always have to bring a snack and water with us, whether we'll be gone for five hours or five minutes! The canopy-style top is great for keeping the sun off and gives a little protection from the heat.

    step2 turbo coupe review

I like that the door has a lock to keep younger kiddos in. Our daughter is old enough to completely control the Turbo Coupe herself, but since it's rated for 1.5 years and up, I think it's important that it has this safety feature.

    step2 turbo coupe review

The door is easy to open and the seat is low to the ground to help even the youngest rider get in. One thing to mention is that the car doesn't have a seat belt. If you have younger kids who like to climb out or stand up that may be an issue. For our daughter it's not a problem but if our son rides in it (he's 15 months old) he usually slides down to the floor.

    step2 turbo coupe review

This Step2 Turbo Coupe really is adorable. Our daughter has so much fun driving it down to the park or the post office, which are just a few blocks from our house. Her legs do get tired of pushing after that, so I wouldn't take it very far unless you are able to push the child back to your end location.

    step2 turbo coupe review

If you're looking for a super fun and stylish ride for your kiddo, look no further! You can purchase the Step2 Turbo Coupe in purple or blue exclusively at ToysRUS. The coupe is also available in red from our affiliate Amazon.

The features I like best are the floor insert which we need with the 1 year old. But I also like that we can remove it so the older sister can use her feet to propel forward. I also like the canopy to protect from the sun.

There are so many great features of this Step2 Turbo Coupe Foot-to-Floor riding toy, that it's difficult to pick just one! Of course, as the name states, this is a riding toy that allows the child to either ride (being pushed by a parent) or to "drive" themselves, using their little feet! This riding toy has a removeable floorboard, which is a unique feature, and seems to be a favorite of the other commenters. Another useful feature is the locking door - which prevents little ones from opening it and possibly falling out! Additionally, the canopy is a helpful feature (especially living in AZ!) in keeping the sun directly off the child. And lastly, the purple/pink color Coupe is perfect for my little niece!

I like the roof to keep sun from beating down on your child as well as the little door so there is no need to step up into it.

Love that they can do it on their own or a parent can push.

I love the parents handle and removable floor! We actually bought our son one similar to this in blue and he has played with since he was 1 and now 2 1/2 and still he loves it!

I love that it can be pushed and that the child can do it themselves also.

The floor feature is great! No more little feet and legs stuck backwards beneath the seat because a foot dragged while the kiddo was being pushed!

I love ghe quiet driving. And horn! It would be noce to have a toy that isn't loud all the time. The turning would be a great way to teach my boys left from right. Overall it looks like a great little car. Hope to see it here.

My favorite feature is the 360 wheels and the handle to push and remeovable floor. Our grandchildren have the red coupe one and they always want us to push then but it hard with no handle this is awesome.

Love the locking doors! My little great niece loves these little coupes but she's forever opening the doors unknowingly while driving one.
