Looking for an educational app for your child?
    Check out Agnitus!

    Agnitus Educational App

    Agnitus educational app

My little guy has been totally fascinated with our iPad lately. I do limit his time playing with it, but I have started exploring educational apps for him to use as well. I've talked with several parents who struggle with finding quality apps for their children, so when Agnitus reached out to me about a sponsored giveaway for my readers and I reviewed their website, I thought this would definitely be something that many of you would be interested in hearing about.

Agnitus is a developer of touch-enabled learning applications for tablets, mobile phones and desktops. They believe that children are naturally creative, and learn through play by seeing, touching, hearing, and doing. It's their mission to support children's curiosity with tools and games that provide rich sources of tangible activity that help them to build fundamental learning skills for their future success.

    Who is Agnitus for?

Designed by education and technology experts, Agnitus is an adaptive learning program for preschool-3rd-grade children designed to let them learn at their own pace. It uses 'smart' progression-based technology to support your child's learning activities and it ensures mastery of fundamental preschool and kindergarten skills. Many, many skills actually!

Agnitus teaches core skills such as:

    • Color Recognition
    • 2-D Shape Recognition
    • Memory & Recall
    • Shape Building
    • Recognizing Numerals
    • Shape & Number Sorting
    • Number Counting
    • Sense Of Quantity
    • Counting up to 10
    • Letters Recognition
    • Initial Consonants
    • Tracing Lines
    • Uppercase Letter Tracing
    • And MANY more!

What makes Agnitus truly unique from other educations apps out there is the analytics and depth of curriculum based on Common Core State Standards. The Agnitus adaptive learning program produces a report card for parents while providing a personalized learning experience for the child based on their ability. Parents' can receive a weekly email with their child's report card and they can access it through their "Parent's Dashboard" in the app or on the web.

The "Parent's Dashboard" doesn't just show you the pace of progress, it also shows you areas of struggle and strength for the child, so you can focus more heavily on areas where they might need a little help.

Agnitus is also offering an Agnitus discount code, just for my readers!
Use coupon code VivaVeltoro for TWO FREE MONTHS with the purchase of one month!

Bet it: You can download the Agnitus app in the app store. You can get a 7-day free trial before deciding to subscribe.

Giveaway closed: Jessi Lodge was the winner.

I love that it uses smart progression based technology! My son just started Pre-K in August and loves to learn new things. This app would be perfect for him to learn at home as well!

It's great to have a way to track strengths and weaknesses! I know that I would love to see the progress my baby makes as she masters new skills and learns new things. 🙂
I went to the website and poked around - I wouldn't think that the logo would have evolved so many times, but I really like the three most recent versions! And I'm so glad they gave teachers access for free this

I think it's wonderful that they gave it to teachers. Most teachers aren't paid enough and pay for a lot of stuff out of their own pocket.

I learned that this app would grow with my son as he learns! Their comprehensive curriculum is amazing. We have the limited free version of the app right now and my son loves it. It would be great to win the whole thing!

My daughters don't go to preschool yet but the counting seems to easy for them, however, I did like the sense of spelling. We only have 1 iPad (we have a nook for the other) and they frequently fight over these games. I did like that the app is endorsed by the Milpitas school district.

Wow! This is pretty awesome! I had no idea there was an app out there that could be used for homeschooling and would be able to grow with the child. I'll be referring some of my homeschooling friends to this!
