LuLaRoe Cassie - 3 Ways To Wear The Cassie Pencil Skirt!

Recently, I fell in madly in love with LuLaRoe. It started innocently with one pair of buttery soft leggings. Then, I branched out to their other styles of clothing and tried a LuLaRoe Cassie skirt. It was perfect and I learned that you could wear it many different ways!

Any LuLaRoe fans out there? You might be familiar with their famous one size or tall and curvy buttery soft leggings, but I urge you to branch out and try their other styles of clothing. I finally gave in and saw a Cassie that I liked but second guessed myself. I mean, I'm a work at home mom and I only have a handful of meetings per year that I need to attend. Did I really need a pencil skirt? The answer was (and is) YES! This skirt is more versatile than I ever imagined. I soon found out that it can be style several different ways to achieve different looks.

The Cassie comes in several different sizes from extra small to 3XL. The material can differ between skirts though which may throw your LuLaRoe Cassie sizing off, so be sure to ask your consultant if it's stretchy or not. XS should fit sizes 2-4, Small 6-8, Medium 10-12, Large 14-16, XL 18-20, 2XL 22-24, 3XL 24-26

Different ways to wear a LuLaRoe Cassie

    lularoe pencil skirt

The first, and probably the most expected look, is work wear. The Cassie is the perfect length for work attire. I'm 5'4" and it hits right above my knee when I wear it high-waisted. I paired my navy and white diamond patterned Cassie with a classic white button down shirt with cap sleeves (purchased from Banana Republic). I then accessorized it with a skinny belt to match my favorite black peep toe pumps. The belt is actually part of a bundle and it's SUPER affordable. I love these skinny belts for pairing with my LuLaRoe Amelia dresses too.

Next up is a casual look. This one is actually my favorite since I'm more of a casual dresser in general. I can simply pull on this super comfortable, stretchy skirt a coordinating top and I look pretty put-together. For this look, I just folded the waistband in half (like a yoga waistband) and since it's stretchy it just fits perfectly without giving any kind of love handle bulge (thank you LuLaRoe!). I usually wear this skirt with a plain white t-shirt, like the one pictured (that was $5 at Target - score!), or a red, gray, or black skirt. I live in my Tieks, so I pretty much just try to match whichever ones I want to wear that day.

    lularoe cassie as top

Ready for this one? I also like to wear the LuLaRoe Cassie pencil skirt as a shirt. I just fold the waist-band down and the length is ideal for a strapless tube-top type of shirt. I paired it with classic white skinny jeans from the Gap (and I live in Florida so we can pretty much wear white jeans any time of year) and a white sweater (this one is from the Banana Republic outlet).

I've also seen people wear the Cassie as a dress (with the same idea as the shirt, just not folding the waistband down) and as an infinity scarf. I'm so impressed with this skirt and how versatile it is. At $35 it's an absolute steal and there are SO many colors, patterns, and fabric options to choose from. Some are less stretchy than others, so be sure to inquire before you buy if you want to style this skirt several different ways.

Have you tried LuLaRoe clothing yet?
Do you love the Cassie pencil skirt?

Super cute skirt, I do like the classic work wear, it looks really nice on you (great shape!) but the wearing it as a shirt really threw me for a loop, very creative and inventive.

I am on Social Security, so a skirt like this one, would be worth it to me. I too am a casual dresser. Thanks for sharing - I could use this mult-function skirt for church.

I've been wanting to try LuLa Roe for a while now. Of course, as a stay at home mom, I'm drawn to the leggings, but I've seen a few of their skirts I liked too. I love that you can wear it as a top, too! Totally genius! I might have to jump in and try this style of skirt first. The print is great!
