Another item that Step 2 sells that I would love to have would have to be the Kid Alert V.W.S. Safety Sign and I would choose this for many different reasons. Our streets speed limit is 25 miles an hour. We have numerous people who cut through on our road to save time while they are driving anywhere from 25-55mph, I kid you not. What makes it even worse is the fact that our house is the third house down over a very large steep hill so people come flying over that hill (more so teenagers) and by the time they are at the top if someone is in the road or backing out of their driveway they will not have enough time to stop. I don't know how many times people have had to go into one of the yards to keep from hitting an animal crossing the street. When we take our son walking in his little car/wagon, we can hear the people speeding up the hill and they can physically see us at the bottom and the people will continue to speed past while some even swerve getting closer. We literally pull our son all the way over into somebody's yard far away from the road when we hear these reckless drivers coming. We have called the police which hasn't helped, there is even a sign saying "deaf child area" which doesn't even mean anything to these people. Our son loves to run around in our yard with our dog, but, with these insane drivers my anxiety stays so bad I can't even let my son enjoy himself outside. I would hope that perhaps the large Kid Alert Sign would at least help to slow some of the traffic down to where I can let my son stay outside for longer than 5 minutes.
