Don't get between this girl and her chocolate. Don't you even think about getting between this girl and her See's Candies. If you're a See's fanatic like me, you've probably tried them all and can easily recognize the shapes and colors of your favorite pieces. Did you know that See's also makes custom boxes? You can order a custom mix in a 1 lb., 2 lb., 3lb. or 5 lb. weight. I know! You can hand select the exact percentage of chocolates that you'd like to see in your boxes, and in 5% increments. At no cost to facilitate this review, I was sent a 2 lb. custom mix box, and my mix looked something like this:
Its taken a few years, but at this point in my chocolate-tasting career, I would definitely consider myself a See's Candies Coneussier. I absolutely have my favorites and I know which chocolates I don't plan on sharing. Ever.
First on that list were these Scotchmallows. There's a reason why I wanted 50% of my box to be filled with these. The caramel, dark chocolate, and marshmallow blend is just divine. My mouth is watering just typing this. Always amazing. Always a favorite. These Almond Buds are also winners. Its another good blend of milk chocolate, almonds, and a little caramel to keep it all together.
