Ways to Repurpose a Diaper Bag

    repurose a diaper bag

I've teamed up with Ju Ju Be to show you how to repurpose a diaper bag.

When I found out I was pregnant with my son, the very first thing I did was buy a designer diaper bag. I had no idea what features to look for, but I did know that I didn't want a frumpy bag that LOOKED like a diaper bag. Over the past 4.5 years I've bought, sold and donated dozens of diaper bags. Not many have ever been "perma-stash," if you will. That is, until I met the Ju-Ju-Be Be Classy. I am thrilled with my Onyx collection Be Classy in Black Magic and don't see parting with... like ever. Even when my littlest one outgrows diapers, I'll still be carrying my Be Classy. Here are a few ways you can repurpose a diaper bag to use long past the diaper stage.

Ways to Repurpose a Diaper Bag

    diaper bag as camera bag

Camera Bag - The Be Classy is the PERFECT camera bag for me lately. I have a few different camera bodies, lots of lenses and various other pieces of equipment, so when I'm on-the-go, I need something with structure that adds a bit of padding. This is where the Be Classy shines. I can either use my insert, or when I'm in a bit of a rush, I'll just wrap my camera in the Be Classy's memory foam change pad for extra protection. The interior pockets are perfect for holding extra lenses, cords, my speedlite, batteries, and extra camera cards.

    reuse diaper bag gym bag

Gym Bag - If my Be Classy can hold up to my toddlers and their food and drinks, it can surely stand up to my gym sneakers. I can simply wrap them up in the padded change pad to keep everything else clean, then pack my personal effects in all the pockets. I can even fit my Be Ready make-up bag without any issues at all. The zippered pouch inside is perfect for keeping my ear buds contained and tangle free.

    diaper bag for work

Work Bag - I recently carried my Be Classy to a local moms meet-up where I knew I'd have a few hours to get some work done. I was able to fit my laptop, portfolio notebook, agenda, chargers, and everything else I needed to get my job done. Thanks to the padded straps on the Be Classy, my shoulder stays nice and comfy despite the heavier electronic load.

You can probably see why I love this bag. Not only is it stylish, it's super functional and comfortable. I love that it comes with a cross-body strap (that's detachable and adjustable and has a removable shoulder pad with memory foam and a grippy textile underneath so it doesn't slip) since I like to have my hands free to chase after my little ones. You can get your Be Classy on the Ju-Ju-Be website, or on Amazon.com (they come in TONS of awesome fashions).

My bags fell apart before I could use them for anything else.

Great ideas!! I love Ju Ju Be bags too!! Cept I am addicted to the BFFs!! I may have to switch though because now that my son is older I want to transition to a purse but I really want the diaper bag pockets and durability!! The Be Classy looks just perfect!!
