I've been talking with my friends about each of our favorite and least favorite stages of childhood. Some parents have a certain age or stage that they really enjoy, and perhaps one that is really difficult. Personally, I find the age of 2-3 the most hair-pulling and testing for me to be calm about, but I love love LOVE the newborn stage! I love how my baby's needs are so simple and they are as cuddly as ever. I love their long naps, their complete dependence without a fight, and how you don't have to issue threats or bargains to get them to eat or get dressed! In fact, they have zero input about their wardrobe, thus the prime opportunity to really dress them up and have a ball with it! I know I sure have had fun this first month with my newborn, especially with all these gorgeous outfits and accessories from Princess Bowtique! Its no secret that I swoon over a cute pair of bloomers. It must be the ruffles, the gathers, and the cute little puff that get me every time. These Vintage Rose Pink Satin Newborn Baby Bloomers are the epitome of sweet and girly! They are made from a soft and silky satin and the elastic has a nice forgiving stretch so even the chunkiest baby thighs won't be squeezed. The ruffles fall so sweetly, and the fabric is so beautifully vibrant! They are just too cute underneath skirts or dresses, but they're also so pretty that they could basically be a darling skirt on their own.
What a cute spring outfit, right? Baby girl's gotta have some spring footwear to go with it! The above White Toe Flower Baby Sandals are sold for $8.99, and they are perfect for little babies who aren't walking and will normally kick off uncomfortable shoes. These have fabric straps that wrap around baby feet and turn them into cute little flowers. I like how soft they are and how very stretchy the fabric straps can be, which will make these usable for many months, regardless of how fast your baby is growing! I only wish that the black piece on the inside of the sandals were a lighter color because it is really visible when worn. Also adorable are these Satin Light Pink Bow Baby Slipper Toddler Shoes. These really look great in pictures and they're so lightweight that they won't bother baby. I love the texture throughout the shoe and the cute bow on top!
Next, I'm so excited to show you this darling little Lavender Ruffled Simple Boutique Dress and Lavender Ruffled Bloomers!
While I love the over-the-top girlishness of yards and yards of lace and chiffon, I also appreciate a frilly dress that is very wearable! This is one of those outfits that is darling and ruffled, but you can still find your daughter inside it! This is something that can be worn to church, to a party, or to a just a play group and still look fabulous without having to take a lot of fuss and fabric with you.
Again with the bloomers! The ruffle bum gets me every time! Doesn't this outfit make you think Spring?! I can just see it on a toddler holding an Easter basket and hunting for eggs.
Now this last outfit is PERFECT for March, and Spring, and Easter!!
This is the Aqua Turquoise Green Pettiskirt for Newborns to Toddlers with a matching headband, and isn't it squeal-worthy?! I am so impressed with the volume of all the layers of beautiful (and extremely soft) nylon chiffon. This pettiskirt fits sizes newborn through 2T because the elastic waistband has button holes down the middle, so the already flexible waistband can become even more custom fit as you fix it on a button, much like boys' jeans these days. The headband makes the perfect accessory for up top, and while it is a little stiff and inflexible in bending around a baby's forehead, it sure makes a beautiful statement accessory.
