Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt in the Step2 Easygoing Wagon!

    Step2

How is your summer treating you?! We hear that winters are pretty rotten around here so we're spending every waking moment outdoors while we can. We spend a lot of our summer days in the backyard, on the local trails, and exploring the neighborhood. To spice things up a little, I created a Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt to give us an activity to do while we cruise around in the new Step2 Easygoing Wagon!

    Step2

There couldn't be a more perfect vehicle for toting around toddlers who like to jump in and out along the journey, especially with its adorable side door. Just like you'd expect from any Step2 product, this wagon (which we received at no cost to facilitate this review) is strong and sturdy, and very well-constructed. There is some assembly required, but its nothing my husband couldn't handle in less than an hour. The front wheels can swivel and rotate for easy maneuverability, and the handle is large and quite comfortable to pull for both of us. I love that it adjusts for height, so Mom and Dad can switch out pulling effortlessly.

    Step2

The boys love this cute little door! The gray latch keeps it from opening on the go. When you look inside, you see the deep basin that allows for a comfortable seat with leg room and high seat backs, along with two adjustable seat belts, and two water holders! Its quite perfect for toting around two children at festivals, the zoo, amusement parks, etc. where the kids will want to jump in and out constantly. We're ready to start the hunt!

    Step2

Most scavenger hunts I've seen involve a number of supplies -- the paper, clipboards, pencils, etc. As soon as I know it, I'm gathering and searching for all the lost and dropped articles along the trail instead of enjoying the activity with my kids. This paper-plate-style checklist avoids the need to bring any writing utensils or hard surfaces. Having only one thing for the kids to hold onto really simplifies things for mom!

    Step2

All you have to do is print this page below, cut out the circle, and glue it onto a paper plate! To allow your child to fold down the found items, cut about 1" into center from each of the outer lines.

    Step2

And start the hunt! This was such a fun afternoon activity! The boys were so entertained and had quite a sweet ride!

    Step2

Enjoy this little video! We sure do love our Step2 EasyGoing Wagon!

There hasn't been a day yet where the wagon doesn't get played with. I LOVE taking it around the neighborhood, to the park, to pick up the mail, to load up with groceries from the car, to give neighborhood kids a ride, to give their stuffed animals a ride...its really putting on the miles! We love having it around.

Buy it: You can find this Step2 Easygoing Wagon exclusively at Toys"R"Us for between $70-80. You can find all sorts of other fun ride-ons and wagons on the Step2 website.

Disclosure: As a Step2 Ambassador, I received this item at no cost to facilitate this review, as well as monetary compensation for promoting Step2 products throughout the year. All opinions are my own.

This would be so fun and convenient to have at my house for when my grandchildren visit. We go out to enjoy the sights and amusement places, and the wagon is great for toting kids and stuff. I had when for my own children and my two girls went everywhere in it. Love to do some more fun this way.

I have 5 grandchildren under the age of 4.. but I also have recently taken on the role of GIrl Scout Service Unit Leader and we really need some tools for our unit.. we have nothing like this at all and unfortunately very little funds to buy them.. when I saw this I thought maybe a company of this nature would be able to help us out and it would be great advertisement for them at the same time... So if you would kindly give this consideration PUt our name in the hat... THAnks
