The most essential slow cooker accessory that you didn't know you needed is here. I'm here to introduce you to CrockPockets silicone slow cooker dividers.

Slow cooking is one of my favorite ways to prepare meals. I'm all about the "set it and forget it" mindset. I've got two slow cookers in my household and use them both quite often.

One of my slow cookers is pretty large and sometimes I just don't need to make that much food at once. That's why I was completely enamored with the idea of CrockPockets.

What are CrockPockets you ask? They're an absolutely brilliant slow cooker accessory that lets you prepare TWO recipes at once. CrockPockets are just that, Crock Pockets. They're silicone pockets that you can place inside the ceramic crock of your slow cooker to separate food.

As you can see, each pocket is deep and can fit inside a 6 or 8-quart slow cooker. Place your ingredients into the pocket then cook according to the recipe's instructions. If one dish finishes before the other, you can just remove that pocket and keep it covered.

CrockPockets are made with food-grade silicone. In fact, they're made with Platinum Silicone, which is the highest quality food-grade silicone on the market. They're PVC-free and BPA-free. They're also made in the USA.

I decided to test my CrockPockets making two recipes with similar flavorings. I made an awesome slow-cooker taco soup and my favorite slow-cooker salsa chicken. If you do cook two separate meals, you'll likely need to cut each recipe in half. I had to cut the taco soup in half but that was actually great since I'd be the only one eating it and didn't want that many servings. I was able to use four chicken breasts for the salsa chicken which was fantastic for meal prep.

My CrockPockets functioned perfectly. Both of my recipes turned out exactly as expected. I cooked both meals on high for 3 hours. And, once they were done I just popped each insert into the dishwasher for easy clean-up.

Ready to buy your own set of inserts? You can purchase your CrockPockets on their website or on Amazon. These would make great gifts!
