Continue your toddler's education all summer with Netflix! #StreamTeam

    toddler's education

I've teamed up with the Netflix #StreamTeam for this post.

My little guy is in a phenomenal preschool program and has grown leaps and bounds since he started attending last fall. He only goes for 4 hours at a time a few days per week, but I've noticed such an improvement in his social skills and vocabulary over the past several months. Our preschool follows the same schedule as the local public school system, so that means school is wrapping up very soon. Although there is a "summer camp" that he'll be attending, it's not the same curriculum or structured learning schedule that he's been used to. Now, I've mentioned several times that my toddler knows how to navigate our iPad and iPhones and we don't shy away from letting him use technology in moderation. I think it's the way of the future since even our local private high school has gone completely book/paper-less and exclusively uses iPads for education. That's why I plan on using my Netflix streaming services to our advantage this summer. They've got a large selection of educational programs for toddlers and we'll definitely be streaming.

When you're browsing Netflix Kids, you'll see that they have categories listed. "Education" is one of their choices and I just love that I can easily select that category to bring up all of the suitable programs for my little guy.

toddler educationThis is just a sampling of the programs available for streaming right now! Some of my son's absolute favorites, like Handy Manny, Wild Kratts, and Super WHY? are available but there are scores of others that we'll be exploring this summer.

Do you have an educational game-plan for the summer?
Will you be utilizing technology to help your child learn?

We have Netflix and I had no idea they had educational programs on for kids. My nieces will be coming over this summer and this would be great for them. I will definitely check this out. Thank you so much for sharing!
