    baby girl announcement

Just wanted to share our happy news with all of you -
Mr. V. and I are expecting a baby GIRL this summer!

I'm still a little in shock since I really believed we were going to have another boy. My husband's family is ALL boys so this came as a big surprise! I feel so blessed!

Special thanks to Camille for helping me with this photo! I saw a similar idea on Pinterest once and hoped someday we'd be able to have a baby girl announcement like this - little party shoes and all! I still can't believe it!

Now the hard part - coming up with a name for our lovely little lady!
I'm open to suggestions so if you have some, I'd love to hear them.

Yay! Congratulations! Our second was a girl.

People have told me so often about how different boys and girls are, I haven't found it to be the case. Each kid is different, of course, but they are so similar.

      Again, congratulations!

Congratulations! Personally, I love your name, Ruth; so another classic name for a little lady would be great! If one of my two middle boys had been a girl, they would have been named after their paternal great grandmothers; Margarette Jeanne and we were planning to call her Maggie. Alas, they were both boys. I had one other daughter eventually, with my 2nd husband, (Savannah is name of oldest - 16) and my husband wanted a Bella so bad... could've been Arabella, Annabella, etc. but there had to be a Bella. Isabella Love is her name. Girls names...so many choices!! Good luck!

Congratulations! I have six daughters-no little boys in my house. I will always wonder what it would have been like to have a son, but God had other plans for us. I will tell you my daughters' names. Starting from the oldest to youngest: Elizabeth, EmmaLee, Sierra, Journey, Mia, & Ever. Can't wait to hear what you decide to name your little girl.

Wow! That's great news- congratulations! When we found out we were having a girl 3 years ago, it took us a long time to decide on a name. We chose Aubrey (I've also seen it spelled Aubreigh) but considered Evelyn. It's so fun to have a baby girl to dress up- ENJOY!

Congratulations, such exciting news!!!! I was taking my 4 year old son to preschool this morning, and he out of nowhere tells me he wants a baby sister really bad. Then he asked me if we could go to Walmart after school so he could buy a baby sister. Oh buddy, if only it were that easy, lol. I love the name Gretta or Reese! Best of luck to you and your family!!!

Congratulations!!! I'm a little behind on my blog reading as I'm expecting my own little girl in three weeks! I have a boy who just turned 3 a couple of weeks ago and I'm really excited to have a little girl now too. Some of my favorite names that hubby was less fond of 🙁 are Violet, Daphne and Madeleine.
