I live in Florida, about 20 minutes from the beach, so I like to think I'm well versed in beach gear. Even though I live so close to the beach, my family still takes a yearly week-long adventure to a beach a few hours away from our home. We like to shake things up about and visit beaches on each of the Florida coasts since the water and sand is so different from beach to beach.

We are headed to San Diego next month and we try to get to the beach while there. Me thing I always forget to bring is extra clothes for my girls. After a fun day at the beach they like to change into dry sand less clothes for the ride back to our hotel.
