I'm going to brag a little and say that I've been pretty darn good about sticking to my New Year's resolution. I wanted to make more of an effort on my appearance and I've actually been doing it! How to do an easy hair bow hairstyle using your own hair

1.) Blowdry hair or let it air dry. I find it's easier to work with dry hair, and this hairstyle will work with curly or straight hair.

2.) Take a small section of hair right above your ear on each side and bring them together at the back of your head and secure them with a small elastic band and you'll end up with a small ponytail.

3.) Separate your tiny ponytail into 2 sections and tie it as if you'd tie your shoelaces - yes, just like a bow!

4.) Secure the bow at the "knot" with a bobby pin at a downward angle.

5.) Finish with a touch of hairspray to hold your style in place.

I have to say, I've been feeling pretty fabulous in 2016 thanks to my new style and personal care routine.
