    Noonday Collection Review!

This post may contain affiliate links. Click here for more information.
I am SO excited to bring you this review and giveaway today! Not only do I love what Noonday Collection is doing, my wonderful friend Elizabeth McKillop is one of their ambassadors! Liz and I have been friends for quite a few years and I'm so excited to help her spread the word about this amazing company and their beautiful jewelry!
    Noonday Collection
Disclosure: I purchased a few items from Noonday Collection at a reduced rate to facilitate my review of their products.
Noonday Collection provides a pathway out of poverty for artisans around the world and supports adoption through fundraising opportunities. They sell amazing, unique jewelry so you can "wear their story"!
Here is a little backstory on Noonday:
After visiting Uganda in February of 2010 and holding hundreds of children without moms and dads, Joe and Jessica Honegger (the founder) decided to adopt internationally (from Rwanda). Also on that visit, they met up with long time friends who had lived in Uganda for many years trying to create sustainable income opportunities for the Ugandan people. They asked Jessica if she would like to sell the fair-trade locally made goods in Austin, in order to raise money for the costly adoption process. Jessica agreed and the first Noonday Collection trunk show was born!

Word spread quickly about Noonday's envied products and the lives they impact. Other women wanted to style their friends while advocating for women and kids. Soon, the opportunity for women to start their own social selling business with a social impact launched and the Ambassador opportunity was born.

At Noonday Collection, we believe every child belongs in a family. We advocate for the orphan by:
Providing jobs that create a pathway out of poverty for families. A stable income means a family is less likely to abandon their child. Help families raise money for their own adoptions. We give 10% of trunk show sales directly to the adoptive family when they host a trunk show. Aside from donating 10% towards qualified adoptive families, Noonday Collection also gives towards orphan care and prevention.

Doesn't Noonday sound inspiring?! After reading their mission statement I knew I wanted to support them and I asked Liz if she'd be interested in me sharing Noonday with you. So, without further ado, here is my review of Noonday Collection.

The first item I chose was the "Ruth Necklace" in Turquoise and Red. How could I resist with a name like that?!
    Noonday Collection

This is a true statement piece! The cherry red and sky blue paper beads beautifully accentuate each other. The bronze seed beads and carved horn are lovely accents on this gorgeous necklace. The closure is a simple loop of beads which wraps around a large cherry red bead. I love the look of this closure and that I can easily take this necklace on and off (without having to work with tiny hardware).

This necklace is handmade by African Style, a group that Noonday Collection helped launch in Uganda to provide wages for women in that region. The Ruth Necklace retails for $56.

The next items I chose were the "Funky Paper Bead Bracelet". These bracelets are so perfectly stackable that I couldn't get just one - I bought three!
    Noonday Collection

For the Funky Paper Bead Bracelet, each bead is handcrafted by African Style from recycled paper and then strung to create a fun bracelet that can mixed, matched, and stacked with virtually any bracelet. Each bead is totally unique and the bracelets are so fun and colorful! Each bracelet measures 3'' and the beads are strung on an elastic band that stretches so they're super easy to take on and off. The Funky Paper Bead Bracelets are $12 each.

    Noonday Collection
Overall, I LOVE my jewelry from Noonday! It's eye-catching and beautiful!  It truly is "style, made with love".

I think Noonday would make a perfect gift - especially for those people that have it all. They have a wonderful line of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. They also have items for the home, gifts, bags, scarves, sandals, belts, and hats!

Connect: You can connect with Elizabeth McKillop, Noonday Collection Ambassador  on Facebook.
Buy it: You can purchase Noonday Collection on Liz's website.

Win it: One lucky person will win a $25 Gift Card to Noonday Collection!

Open to the US only. Ends 7/18/13 at 11:59 PM EST.
