Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile Review!

Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile

You may recall that I had the pleasure of reviewing Tiny Love's My Nature Pal Stroll a few months ago. My little guy really enjoys his Stroll, so when Tiny Love released their Magical Night Baby Mobile I had a feeling he'd love it as well.

You might be thinking, why would a toddler want a mobile? Well, Tiny Love has ingeniously designed the Magical Night to be so much more than just a mobile! It's actually a 3-in-1 mobile, projector and night light! It's designed for children 1-24+months and goes from newborn to toddler in just a few easy steps. Tiny Love sent me their new Magical Night mobile to review:

Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile

Since my little guy is so active, I usually save assembly projects for nap time, but I just had to peek into the box once it arrived. Since it looked pretty simple to put together, I decided to just give it a go right then and there. I'm happy to report that the Magical Night was really easy to assemble, and I had it ready to play within minutes. Of note, you will need 4 C batteries (not included).

I decided to first test this out as a mobile, complete with the canopy and dangling characters. Aren't the owl, giraffe, and monkey adorable? They are brightly colored and just so cute! They easily attach to the canopy thanks to their hook and loop closure.

Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile
The mobile itself easily attaches to the crib.
Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile

This mobile is designed for babies 0-5 months. They'll love looking at the dangling, rotating characters, and they'll also enjoying the soothing sounds of the mobile. There are 3 different music categories with 9 tunes in all. The music will play continuously for 30 minutes, and you can adjust the volume (or use the mute feature). That's not all though - you can even use the projector feature when in "mobile mode". Since baby is quite nearsighted at this point and their vision is still developing, the canopy will "catch" the projected image so baby can see it.

Once your baby turns 5 months old, you can easily remove the mobile feature and use the Magical Night as a portable music box with projector. My little guys is obsessed with touching the buttons on his Magical Night (to the point he gets too distracted to relax and fall asleep), so I usually set it on the dresser next to his crib. He loves watching the projector! The images of giraffes, monkeys, and owls circling around fascinate him.

Although the wubba usually sleeps through the night without a problem, there have been a few nights where he's woken up and just will not be lulled back to sleep. We don't have traditional night lights, so when this has happened in the past, I've just turned on lights in the hallway or a dim light in his room.

A few weeks ago when he woke up at 1 AM, we used the Magical Night projector to calm and soothe him a bit. It didn't put him right back to sleep, but it illuminated the room enough so that we could see each other. He was comforted by my being there. He watched the projector and listened to the music for a few hours before finally falling back to sleep, but I was really thankful to have the Magical Night Baby Mobile that night.

Once your little one is a bit older (12-24 months+) you can use the Tiny Love Magical Night as a Starry Night Lamp. Just place the canopy on the attached post and you'll have a bedside night light/lamp that will project stars into the room. Again, you could use this with or without the musical feature.

Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile
I love that there are so many options with the Magical Night Baby Mobile. Since each child responds differently to stimulation, you can determine your baby's unique needs and preferences. You can pick and choose the music, the volume level, whether you want the dangling toys to rotate or not (or whether you want the dangling toys there at all), and whether you want to use the projector.

Overall, my little guy has really been enjoying the Tiny Love Magical Night Baby Mobile. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a mobile that will grow with their child.

I love the whole thing! For our first kiddo, we purchased a wind-up mobile... we didn't realize they had such awesome options out there. It only made sound for about 70 seconds... so we either had to go back in to wind it up or leave it quiet. I love all the options on this one! We are expecting #2 in a few weeks and this would be a definite upgrade!
