Introducing the Rimiclip - the EASIEST way to babyproof your cabinets!

This post may contain affiliate links. Click here for more information.

    Rimiclip

I've teamed up with Rimiclip to help spread the word about this new product!

You know I think babyproofing your home is super important (you can get my free printable babyproofing checklist to make sure you've covered all your bases), and that's why I'm SO excited to share a new product with you today that's going to make your life so much easier!

When we moved into our new home we knew we needed to babyproof our kitchen and laundry room cabinets but our property manager was adamant about us not drilling or screwing into their expensive kitchen cabinets. We weren't too sad about that because attaching locks to each cabinet would have taken us hours (not to mention if you don't line them up properly you have to start all over!). That didn't leave us with many options besides those difficult to use zip-tie things or the huge plastic sliding locks.

Well, guess what - there's a new product that's about to change the way we babyproof!
Allow me to introduce you to the Rimiclip…

Rimiclip installs instantly on your cabinets, requires absolutely NO TOOLS OR SCREWS, and causes no permanent damage to your cabinet doors or frames! Simply put the clip on the door, slide the arm into the slots on the back of the clip, and close the door…

    Rimiclip

That’s it! No drills, no screwdrivers, no screws! No frustration!

The clips and arms are made of hard, durable plastic construction which resists breaking and the rubber lining with protect your cabinet doors and provide grip. Plus, you don't have to worry about the fit because the height is adjustable to accommodate a wide range of cabinet styles.

Erik Hansen, a designer and inventor from San Diego, came up with the idea for Rimiclip because his friends kept asking him to help them install the complicated and frustrating cabinet door locks that all parents are forced to buy today. After nearly 2 years of development, hundreds of prototypes, multiple test families, and countless hours of 3D printing, he is ready to bring the Rimiclip to market!

Erik is crowdfunding the Rimiclip on GoFundMe. Your contribution gets you Rimiclips before they hit the store shelves! All the manufacturing will be done right here in the USA!

I seriously love the simplicity of the Rimiclip. It is easy, quick, non-damaging, and even portable if need be! I'd love these for our home, my in-law's house and my parents house.

I'm all for supporting new businesses and manufacturing items right here in the US, so I encourage you to check out Rimiclip at www.gofundme.com/rimiclip and secure your Rimiclips today! Let’s bring this product to market!!

Head over to www.gofundme.com/rimiclip NOW to secure your Rimiclips!

These look like they would work so much better than the ones I have now! The ones I have dont catch on the drawers. You can pull really hard and they just open.

Hi! Trust me, these hold strong... I spent 2 years designing them!
Pre-order now and you won't be disappointed! Let me know if you have absolutely any questions.

Brilliant! I'd buy them. I am wondering how easy they would be for a child to take off though. My 2 year old might not be able to figure that out, but I feel like my 4 year old would just take it off.

The clip holds very tight. That was a major concern for us.
The one in the pictures is one of the prototypes, but the final Rimiclips will be polycarbonate which is a very strong plastic! With the rubber lining, this thing holds tight!

We really need to get the pre-sales going so we can get it to production...

Thanks for the kind words! Feel free to contact me with any questions!

BRILLIANT! There is something almost identical meant for doors called the Door Monkey, and it is a LIFESAVER for households that don't have circular doorknobs (for those toddler-proofing things to go over) or for when you travel to someone else's home. But this is a cabinet version of that! SO SMART!

        Thanks Carolyn!

We are very proud of it... it has been a long road, but I'm excited because we're close to getting these on the shelves!
If you are able to, placing a pre-order on the crowdfunding site would be awesome! If not, even sharing it would be helpful... We need to get as much traction as possible in these early days of the campaign!! Thanks again for the kind works, and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!

Love to have these for our new home to keep the cats out of the cabinets. These are nice, you don't have to attach with screws. No more holes in your cabinets.

Exactly Linda! The screws are terrible!
My mom is actually using her prototypes to keep the dog out of the cabinets!

We would love your support! If you can't pre-order a set, then sharing would be great too! We really want to get these to market... thank you so much!

        April 16, 2015 at 5:01 pm

        Hi Deborah
It depends on the individual drawer. During testing we found that some larger drawers it worked great on! But each one is a little different. Deeper drawers are better, and as long as there is a lip inside, it should be good to go! When I went to Home Depot I had it working on about 75% of the drawers they had.

We want all our early supporters to take pride in getting the Rimiclip to market!!
So if you're able to, please pre-order a set, so we can get even more feedback! If you can't pre-order, sharing on facebook would be great too!

Thanks again! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks!! It took a long time to get the Rimiclip to this point... Now to get it to market, we just need to get kick this crowdfunding campaign into high gear!

If you think you might use some, or want to see it get to the shelves, please pre-order today!

If not, even sharing it on Facebook would be super helpful... We really need support from people like you to get the traction we need! You can share it right from the Gofundme website, takes 2 seconds...

        Hi Kassie!

We have had tons of interest and everyone loves them! But we need to get the snowball started on the crowdfunding campaign! If you like the Rimiclips, please pre-order some on the gofundme site! As people start pre-ordering, more people will get involved, and then we will be able to get the Rimiclip to market!

Thanks for the support! Please don't be afraid to reach out if you have any questions.

        Hi Katrina!

Once we hit our goal with pre-sales, we will be about 4 months from delivery for the early birds... I know that doesn't help you, because you need them now! However, in order to make Rimiclips available at all we need as much support as we can get!!

If you could pre-order a set, or at least share it with some of your friends, that would be awesome!

Thanks so much! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
