Do you remember when I featured The Original Muck Boot Company on the blog last fall? I love the Women's Arctic Adventure Boots and my little guy loves stomping around in the Kids' Hale Boots, so when I heard they had some new products for Spring I was pretty excited. When I heard one of the new items would be ballet flats I was thrilled! Super cute AND comfy flats from The Muck Boot Company? Yes, please! Then, when I saw the newest fashions in their Breezy Mid Boot I immediately wanted them. Thankfully, The Muck Boot Company is super generous and sent me both to try out (at no cost to facilitate this review).
I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new Breezy Ballet Cool! I was immediately drawn to the Black-Floral print and I'm happy to report that it's just as pretty in person as it is online! This stylish flat is perfect for spring and beyond. Designed to keep your feet dry and comfortable, the Breezy Ballet Cool is the ideal casual shoe for running errands or doing light yard work. Constructed with their new XpressCool™ lining, the Breezy Ballet Cool will pull moisture away from your feet and spread it across the shoe to keep you cool and dry. There's an EVA Midsole for support with an etc® sock liner to reduce friction and heat build up. This sounded perfect for Florida's labile weather!
Like many of The Muck Boot Company's shoes, the Breezy Ballet Cool is crafted out of NEOPRENE (2 mm in this case) and it's 100% waterproof. The outsole is made of flexible, lightweight rubber so it grips the ground to prevent skids and slips. These features are truly wonderful for me since it rains nearly every afternoon here. Plus, they're super helpful for our daily visits to the splash pad! I've been wearing these flats for a few days now and I've been loving every minute. I used the sizing chart available on the website and although it said I could wear a size 9, I chose a size 8 and they fit perfectly. I'm a true size 8.5 in most shoes, so you might want to lean towards the smaller size if you're in the middle and going to be wearing your Mucks without socks. I have the size 9 in the Women's Arctic Adventure boots and those fit fine since I wear them with thicker socks.

I also had the opportunity to check out the Women's Breezy Mid casual all-purpose boot. Again, I chose the Black-Floral and I'm sure you can see why - they're beautiful!
The Breezy Mid boot is a great shoe to have on hand for wet environments. Again, this is ideal for me since I live in tropical Florida where it rains almost daily in the spring and summer months. Thanks to the new XpressCool™ lining my feet will be cool and comfortable, plus these also have the etc® sock liner to reduce friction and heat build up. Like the Breezy Cool flats, these boots are made from NEOPRENE (4 mm), and are 100% waterproof, light-weight, and flexible. These also have the same great EVA Midsole, but also feature an EVA rubber pod outsole. The outsoles are great for keeping your footing on wet surfaces. I gave these a good test by running around the pool deck with my toddler.
Overall, I'm super pleased with my new shoes from The Original Muck Boot Company! Their new items and colors/prints for spring look fabulous, plus they're functional and super comfy. I could see putting these flats on tomorrow and never taking them off again until the dead of winter, when I might have to pull out the boots. The Muck Boot Company has seriously got us covered for almost any kind of weather. Waterproof for rainy days, cooling for summer and boots tough enough to stand up to deep snow.
