Rich Chocolate Raspberry Cake Recipe

A rich chocolate cake recipe with tangy raspberry frosting and a secret ingredient!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 cup Hellmann's Carefully Crafted Dressing & Sandwich Spread
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • cups cocoa
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • ½ t. baking powder
  • 1 t. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cream the eggs and the sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add in the vanilla and Hellmann's Carefully Crafted Dressing & Sandwich Spread until combined.
  3. Warm the chocolate chips for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave until melted and stir it into the wet ingredients bowl.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  5. Add it to the wet ingredients in small amounts along with the water until smooth.
  6. Bake in greased round pans for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
