Post-it Brand is celebrating 35 years of helping great ideas take shape and they are being used more than ever in the home, the office, and at school! We're excited to show you are top favorite ways to use them!
We've partnered with Post-it Brand to bring you some great ideas to make your mark on the world!
We've all heard of Post-it Notes and we've probably all used them before. They make the perfect tool for doodles, the best shopping lists, and the best way to label which sandwich has the crunchy peanut butter. These iconic canary yellow sticky 3 by 3 squares have been around for years (since 1980, actually!), but there are SO many more Post-it Note products out there and a variety of ways to use them beyond organization. The Post-it Brand line has evolved and grown and now includes new colors, shapes, and sizes that allow for all sorts of collaborating, communicating, labeling, sharing, and showing! There is even a Post-it Plus app which looks fascinating!
Now check out these colors! These Post-it Brand World of Color Super Sticky Notes come in nine color palettes inspired from locations around the world, like Rio de Janeiro, Bora Bora, and Bali! They can convey energy, movement, drama, expression, serenity and discovery, and they really add a splash of color to any room you use them in.
Here are a few of our favorite ways to use the Post-it Brand:
1. A Countdown - Peeling off one number each day is a bright visual and a fun activity for impatient children (and impatient adults). These are super sticky, so staying affixed to a clean wall for days isn't a problem.
2. Classic Shopping List - I found these Post-it Notes to be the perfect size for my shopping list items. I like to peel it off the fridge and place it right on top of my wallet so it doesn't get lost in my purse or pockets.
3. Book Tabs - When I was reading large textbooks regularly in college, I had to mark the end so that I could see my progress and see just how much I had left to read. For long and less-than-interesting readings, it was encouraging! These Post-it Durable Tabs are excellent for books, binders, calendars, planners, etc. and are writable and can be re-positioned.
4. Lunch notes - These Post-it Brand Flags are great for marking documents or indicating errors on forms, but I also like to use them on my kids' lunch items. I love writing little notes to them with the cute, colorful arrows to remind them to eat their veggies first!
5. Photography Backdrop - This is my favorite! It was SO EASY! I am definitely stocking up on more colors of Post-it Notes and doing more photo-shoots like this with my kids. I love how it looks and how interchangeable it can be.
6. Flip Book - This is my boy's favorite: drawing a picture on each page and then fanning them so that he can watch the little 'movie' take place. It takes a whole Post-it Note pad, but it can be very engaging to make!
7. Motivational Post-it Notes - With all these bright colors, you can't help but right positive things on them! I like leaving an encouraging statement or quote on our bathroom mirror for everyone to see when they start their day.
8. Monthly Calendar - I LOVE this colorful, interchangeable calendar! I set up March in our kitchen where everyone could add their schedule details and we could have a bright visual when we were planning vacation days, carpools, and weekend events.
9. Reminders in the Car - Regardless of whether I have dates and addresses in my phone or not, sometimes I (and especially my husband) need an extra reminder as soon as we get in the car. I like to add Post-it Notes to the dashboard or the sun visor so the info is right where I need it.
10. Vocab Help - What a fun way to learn a language, right? We're brushing up on our Spanish at home, and these bright Post-it Notes are oh so helpful!
Do you see how Post-it Brand has evolved from purely simple and practical to acutely specific and extremely helpful? The Post-it Brand makes staying organized so easy, but beyond communication and organization, I love how I can use Post-it Notes for fun and games!
Because Post-it Brand has been inspiring for the last 35 years, I know they are reliable and just the right tools to facilitate great ideas. There are now over 1,000 Post-it brand products sold in more than 150 countries, and in a huge variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. They are easy to find, convenient to use, and they are an essential item in my home. Make your mark on the world with Post-it Notes and enjoy trying out some of these ideas and coming up with some new ones of your own!

I use so many Post-It notes! I should just buy them in bulk. At home I make to-do lists on them and stick them where I won't forget them and I use others to write the ingredients for frequently used recipes and stick them inside kitchen cabinets so I can quickly double-check amounts in the middle of cooking. At work I use them to make notes on books being sent for cataloging changes or repairs.
